BADBY & DISTRICT HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY |

The society is affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society. It has about 100 members from Badby and the surrounding area and a committee of twelve who are interested in gardening both flowers and vegetables.
The main event every year is the Annual Show held in the village hall and in a marquee on The Green every first Sunday in September, coinciding with Badby Fayre in even years. The costs of this are offset by profits made at social events during the year which currently include: February: Quiche & Wine evening and lecture in Newnham village hall May: Spring Plant Sale and teas in Badby village hall June: Summer Garden Lunch prepared by members and served in a member’s garden. July: a coach outing to a garden October: AGM and themed evening –2006 Pumpkins, 2007 Badgers, 2008 Question Time. Our events are usually advertised in The Link and the Daventry Express.
